The Estin Report: State of the Aspen Market 2011 Year and 4th Quarter is in process. Here is a prelude: the year has been positive in the double digits for the total market, +15% in dollar sales and +25% in unit sales for Aspen and Snowmass Village combined (+23% and +22% respectively in Aspen alone) but this is mainly due to the strength of the first half of the year. Since July 2011, however, dollar and unit sales have fallen off considerably from activity in Jan. - June '11 as the draft charts below indicate. The report will be released soon.
