Pitkin County Real Estate Sales Plummet 46 percent Through Nov., AT

Same story, different month in the Aspen-area real estate market.The dollar volume of Pitkin County sales was down 40 percent in November compared to last year. Sales hit $64.79 million compared to $107.7 million for November 2007, according to a monthly analysis provided by Land Title Guarantee Co.Sales have tumbled every month this year. For the year-to-date through November, sales are down 46 percent, the report shows.Total sales so far this year are $1.25 billion. They were $2.33 billion through November last year.
