Homeowners Sue City of Aspen Over Residences at Little Nell Approval, ADN

Aspen Real Estate - A couple whose home is just uphill from the Residences at Little Nell is suing the city of Aspen for issuing a final certificate of occupancy to the luxury fractional project. The action comes nearly one year after the homeowners, Preston and Betty Henn of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., threatened to sue the city for granting the Residences a conditional certificate of occupancy, in November 2008. They ended up suing the developer, claiming a number of issues with the construction of the project. The Residences opened for business in February; city officials granted the final certificate of occupancy on Nov. 19.
