Hypo Bank and Viceroy Hotel Buyers in Base Village Suits Begin Today, ADN

SNOWMASS REAL ESTATE - A dozen attorneys and two judges spent Monday morning in the Garfield County Courthouse debating and discussing some fine points of the Base Village foreclosure and the fate of $13 million worth of deposits on condos in the Viceroy hotel.At 9 a.m., District Court Judge Gail Nichols heard oral arguments in the foreclosure case of Hypo Real Estate Capital Corp. versus Base Village Owner, LLC.And shortly after 10 a.m., District Court Judge Denise Lynch considered arguments in the case of Michael Keefe, et al, versus Base Village Owner, LLC, and Related WestPac Real Estate LLC. The second case centers on the holders of at least 62 purchase and sale agreements on Viceroy condos who are suing to get their deposits back.
