ASPEN REAL ESTATE - Real estate sales volume in November grew this year over November 2008, marking the third straight month of improvement over last year’s doldrums.Last month saw $81.4 million in real estate transactions in Pitkin County, a 25 percent increase over November 2008, according to the latest report by Land Title Guarantee Company. Year to date real estate sales are at $991.3 million through November, which is on pace to be 21 percent down from 2008. The beginning of 2008 saw strong numbers as many fractional closings at the Residences at Little Nell and Dancing Bear were recorded at the same time.
