ASPEN REAL ESTATE – Aspen real estate took a breather in Jan and Feb. 2013 from the surge of sales in Dec. 2012. The first two months of the year have been characterized by an increase in low-end sales under $1M, a lack of big ticket +$10M sales – a common occurance in the 1st two months of any year with the exception of 2011 when there were 5 sales over $10M, low inventory of newer built product and continued interest in vacant land following last year’s surge of lot sales.
