ASPEN SNOWMASS – Setting what appears to be a real estate record for the town of Snowmass Village, an $18.5 million transaction recorded this week at the Pitkin County clerk’s office also will have the distinction of helping the town reach its goal in one of its key funds that pays for public amenities. On Tuesday, two slopeside properties in the high-end Two Creeks subdivision changed hands for $18.5 million. The 1-acre lots, both with roughly 5,500-square-foot homes on them, were packaged together as an estate with one of the homes to be used as a guest house, according to the brokers who worked on the deal. There’s a swimming pool and Jacuzzi between the homes adjacent to the ski run, said listing broker.
