ASPEN REAL ESTATE – The penthouse condo at the Paragon building on the Hyman Avenue mall sold last week for $12.95 million, while commercial space in the building is going through foreclosure. Slam Commercial, LLC, owned by Michigan businessman Linden Nelson, sold the condo and also owns the commercial space. The buyer of the condo at 419 E. Hyman Ave. is Paragon Penthouse, LLC. Slam Commercial purchased part of the Paragon building on May 8, 2005 for a total of $18 million, according to public records. The purchase included five units, three of which are commercial and went for $6 million. The other two were a penthouse and a garage space that cost $12 million…The penthouse is a 4,758-square-foot unit that includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garage portion is a 522-square-foot space. With these two spaces combined, the price per square foot breaks down to $2,433 a square foot.
