ASPEN – Lance Armstrong has some sage advice for Tiger Woods: If you don’t want it printed, don’t let it happen.Or something like that. In an interview
this week with television anchor Campbell Brown on CNN, the seven-time Tour de France champion was asked about the intense scrutiny professional athletes must endure in this lightning-quick digital age. Referencing Andre Agassi’s recent revelations of faux hair pieces and methamphetamine use and last week’s puzzling Florida car crash involving Woods, Brown asked Armstrong how he feels about the perpetually prying eyes of the tabloid media.”our local paper — we spend part of the year in Aspen — the local paper says, if you don’t want it to be in the paper, don’t do it,” he said with a grin.
