ASPEN REAL ESTATE – A foreclosure sale on the Aspen home of fugitive murder suspect Pamela Phillips was held on Wednesday for an unpaid debt of $4 million to Wells Fargo Bank. The bank was the sole and winning bidder on the defaulted mortgage on Phillips’ home at 781 Meadowood Drive, which is in a neighborhood behind the Aspen Chapel near the roundabout. Wells Fargo’s winning bid was $4,411,365.86.The bank started foreclosure action in mid-May and the original sale date in September was pushed back multiple times. No one attended the Wednesday morning sale on the Pitkin County Courthouse steps, which concluded in a matter of seconds.
