Colorado Department of Transportation officials still couldn’t say last night when a 17-mile stretch of Interstate 70 connecting Glenwood Springs to Dotsero might reopen to motorists. While contractors examined the damage done by a huge rockslide that shut the interstate down, six workers scaled more than 900 feet up the side of Glenwood Canyon on Tuesday to check out a boulder, about 20 feet in diameter, that is precariously perched above the westbound lanes.
