ASPEN REAL ESTATE – A revised townhome development plan has been submitted to the City for the three vacant lots totalling 2.4 acres on South Aspen Street just uphill of the Lift One Condominiums and down the street from Lift 1A at the base of Aspen Mountain. The site has often been mentioned as the future site of a Four Seasons Hotel and a twice rejected proposal for the controversial Lodge at Aspen Mountain whose developers, Centurion Partners, went into bankruptcy in 2009. (For more info on Lodge at Aspen Mountain, search EstinAspen.com). The new proposal would build out in two phases: Phase I: five free market townhomes and ten affordable housing units; Phase II: nine additional free market townhomes. The total sq footage of the proposed plan would be 46,170 at the site.
