ASPEN SNOWMASS REAL ESTATE – Related WestPac would like to unload some real estate in its Base Village development project — and it’s very close to putting the property on the market, Related WestPac CEO Dwayne Romero said last week. The developer is in the final stages of negotiations with its lenders, headed by Germany’s Hypo bank, to reach an agreement to sell lot 3, a piece of the Base Village core on which three buildings are planned. Two of those buildings, the stalled arrival center (building 7) and the Snowmass Little Nell (building 8) are partially built but have been covered in plastic since construction halted in late 2008 and early 2009. Including the third building, building 6, the lot comprises 44 approved condos and some commercial space. Lot 3 would come with all entitlements and approvals for that lot.
