MISSION: To inform and educate like no other – to provide timely and accurate market information and analysis on Aspen real estate with a forthright, objective and professional lens.
If you are a buyer or seller of Aspen real estate, the Estin Report is intended as an introduction to my broker services. If this information is helpful, I’d welcome the opportunity to start a conversation about selling your Aspen area property or buying one.
My goal is to help clients get the most value and reward for their buying or selling decisions and to overcome challenges that undoubtedly arise during a transaction…all while making the process as seamless, enjoyable, fun and stress-free as possible.
I’m a life-long Aspenite – I went to elementary school here – bottom-line oriented and a straight-shooter. Direct, no baloney. Working with me, you’ll get unique and deep local knowledge, history, perspective and insights straight from the horses mouth before it’s second hand and recycled by others. See what clients and experts say. And please call 970.309.6163 or email to discuss your real estate situation. Download bio.
“One of the town’s best brokers”, says local media. Cited frequently for market guidance in WSJ, Financial Times, Bloomberg, Business Week, Denver Post, BBC, Aspen Times, Aspen Daily News, NPR/KAJX Aspen, Colorado Public Radio and many others.
Since 2006, I’ve written the Estin Report and blog at EstinAspen.com, the original sales and market research platform for Aspen Snowmass real estate.
I’ve been an elite top 1% Aspen broker and won numerous ‘outstanding’ sales performance awards … Important only in so far as validation for hard work, white glove client attention and their return business and referrals, and peer respect.
From 2005-2009, I served as Aspen Board of Realtors’ (ABOR) liaison to the City of Aspen and separately, as ABOR liaison to Pitkin County communicating land use code changes, government policies and political issues to Aspen’s professional real estate community. I currently serve on the ABOR Standards & Ethics Committee.
I’ve got longtime family roots in Aspen with insider connections:
> Attended Aspen’s Yellow Brick Elementary School in the West End
> Apprenticed for locally famous Aspen architect Fritz Benedict (Benedict Music Tent)
> Founding director of the 10th Mountain Division Hut Assoc. (huts.org), the 34 hut/350 mile ski/bike hut-to-hut trail system between Aspen and Vail.
> Market Associate for the pre-eminent international ski resort planning & consulting firm Sno-Engineering, Inc then based in Aspen and Lyme, NH. (Now SEgroup.com.)
I earned a BA from Colorado College in political economy and an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management.
