Missouri Heights is a rural area outside of Carbondale, CO (30 miles down valley from Aspen) with unsurpassed views of Mount Sopris. It is known for its mountain ranches and horse properties. The area has many places to ski, hike, climb and fly fish, particularly near the confluence of the Fryingpan and Roaring Fork Rivers, in nearby Basalt.
