Updated: May 14, 21. Here are examples of redeveloped or remodeled Aspen and Snowmass condos and homes since 2014. Many of these are properties that have been “flipped” – that is sold relatively recently, then remodeled/redeveloped and sold again, or have come back on to the market at significantly higher ask prices where no change has been made other than the passage of time, a rising market and optimistic seller sentiment. – a seller’s market where there is little inventory. Or in real estate sales parlance, “the market is coming to them, the seller”.  These properties highlight the ‘power of new’ or like-new built product in realizing price premiums and market appreciation. Buyers in general are looking for new, impeccably, well-maintained properties that are move-in ready, turn-key. They don’t want to ‘do anything’ and they are willing to pay up for this.
