I’m working on my end of year 2017 report. Here’s a sampling showing one of the key trends of 2017: the concentration of sales in the Aspen Downtown Core and how Sold Price per Sq Ft declines the further out one goes – where excellent relative values still remain.
Another significant trend is the uptick in downtown Aspen condo/townhomes sales at record prices and the steady decline of units for sale. This is either a recipe for further price gains in this seller’s market or, less likely, a turn-off to buyers. In this current market environment, if you want to play, you’ve got to pay.
